Penzance BID backed by 63% in online poll
FOLLOWING last week's news that Penzance could soon have its own Business Improvement District (BID), readers have been sharing their views with The Cornishman.
We have set up an online poll asking people if they are for or against the plans, which would see all businesses in a certain area contribute to a fund to be used to promote and enhance their trading environment.
Earlier this week, the results showed 63 per cent felt Penzance needed a BID, 28 per cent said it was not needed and 9 per cent didn't know.
