“It provides assurance to customers that they will be supported by a skilful and reliable team and will receive a cost-effective service, whether it be a local fishing vessel, visiting tall ship, or one of our own passenger or freight ships.”
Penzance Dry Dock, which was founded in 1834, is leased to the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company and is one of the longest established in the UK, providing facilities for vessels in need of repair and conversion.
The audit report of the recent visit stated that “the assessor was very impressed with the commitment to the system shown by all of the staff and all staff should be congratulated for the hard work and commitment shown”.
