Penzance Orchestral Society concert at St Mary's Church

PENZANCE Orchestral Society's next concert takes place on Saturday at St Mary's Church, Penzance, starting at 7.30pm.

With a programme of British music designed to celebrate 60 years since the Queen's Coronation, the concert will open with Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance No 4, with Holst's A Somerset Rhapsody, Britten's Soirees Musicales and Coates' London Everyday Suite.

Tickets for the concert are available in advance from Morrab Studios in Penzance on 01736 362191 and on the door, priced £8 for adults, accompanied children free.
