Penzance crash victim named
A 59-YEAR-OLD Penzance man has died following a car crash on the A30 last night.
Philip Slimmon was pronounced dead at the Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske in Truro this morning.

The collision involving two vehicles took place at approximately 8.30pm on Wednesday, December 21, at Newlyn Coombe crossroads near Penzance.
A 26-year-old man from Falmouth has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on police bail until March 21, 2012 while investigations continue.

“My dad did not have that option, he was a driver and was driving to work when the accident happened. He had driven that road everyday for the past 11 years.
