Penzance high street closed after bomb scare
PENZANCE high street was closed on Saturday night after a bomb scare.
Police were called to Market Jew Street at around 9.10pm after reports that a suspicious device had been placed in a shop.
The road was cordoned off as officers investigated but it quickly became apparent that the device was a lit firework that had been thrown into a kebab shop.
No one was believed to have been injured in the incident and no one has yet to be arrested.
