People are urged to take part in parade
THIS year's St Piran's Day parade in Truro will be bigger than ever, it is hoped.
Organisers are looking for more people to get involved to build on the success of last year. Truro's 2012 parade had more people than ever taking part, with members of local clubs and societies joining with schoolchildren through the streets of Truro.
Elizabeth Stewart, the parade co-ordinator, said: "We'd like to increase community engagement in the parade and give the people of Truro a greater sense of ownership of the event.
"We're looking for people to take part in the parade itself, people to man traffic signs and help steward the participants, and people to assist in organising specific aspects of the parade in future years."
