Money raised from calendar sales will go to chosen local charity Go North Devon Ring and Ride, which provides transport for the disabled and older people unable to use public transport.
Ms Roff said: "Photography has always been a great passion of mine. I wanted to record things around me, as anyone could do so, and when I heard about the Lyn Valley Fuels competition, I decided to enter. I feel gratified that my picture is going to be used in the calendar, especially as any funds raised through the sale of the calendar will directly benefit Go North Devon Ring and Ride, a charity which is particularly close to my heart."
Malcolm Dennis, the company's area sales manager, said: "Elsie Roff's photo was chosen because it's an outstanding image of a professional standard. The photography competition is our way of reaching out to the local community, while giving something back and raising funds for Go North Devon Ring and Ride." The calendars will be sold at Go North Devon Ring and Ride in Barnstaple from mid-November.
Arlington Court, near Barnstaple, is a National Trust property, and houses a collection of more than 50 horse drawn carriages.
