Pirates hand Morgan skipper's armband for trip to Rotherham
Chris Morgan will lead the Cornish Pirates as they begin 2014 with a tough Greene King Championship fixture in South Yorkshire against Rotherham Titans at Clifton Lane on Saturday (2pm).
Scrum-half Gavin Cattle picked up a knee injury in the Boxing Day win over Plymouth Albion meaning that Tom Kessell will partner Matt Evans at half-back for the game.
In an otherwise unchanged three-quarter line centre Alex Dancer comes in for his first league start of the season replacing Junior Fatialofa.
Up front the only change in the front row sees Shane Cahill take over from Jack Andrew whilst Neale Patrick comes in for Will Graulich at lock.

In the back row England Under-20 flanker Joel Conlon takes over from Alex Cheesman and Exeter Chiefs loanee James Phillips continues at Number 8 after recent impressive performances.
The replacements bench is a much changed affair with Canada international hooker Aaron Carpenter making a welcome return from injury.
The overall head to head between the sides have all come at this level and of the 22 previous encounters Rotherham have won only six, with one game drawn. Therefore the Titans will be under no illusions as to the difficulty of their task ahead.
Going into the game the South Yorkshire outfit have made five changes, two of those enforced. Scrum half Charlie Mulchrone has failed to recover from a shoulder injury suffered in the Boxing Day win over Bedford Blues and Dan White comes in for him. Joel Hodgson is unavailable, so Dallan Murphy, who has also just returned from injury has the chance to shine in the number 10 jersey.
