A solar park in Cornwall looks set to go ahead after planners gave their support.

Applicant Enfinity UK Ltd has offered a one-off payment of £25,000 for community benefit.

Cornwall Council's strategic planning committee has delegated approval for Little Trevease at Butress Downs, near Constantine, to officers subject to a satisfactory archeological report, as the site has remains dating back to the Bronze Age.

The 5MW park would cover 13 hectares on four fields. It has the support of Wendron Parish Council but neighbouring Constantine Parish Council objected. Two letters of objection have been received from residents.
