Footballer scores after FOUR seconds
SHANE Weeks wrote his name into the record books after scoring after FOUR seconds in a Junior Cup tie at the weekend, writes Tom Clarke.
Weeks, who plays for Duchy League side Grampound, found the net straight from kick off in his side's game against Wadebridge on Sunday (match report page 103).
Despite kicking off, Wadebridge instantly lost possession when the ball was passed back to midfield.
It fell to Weeks, who promptly guided the ball into the corner with his first touch much to the astonishment of his team-mates and those watching from the sidelines.

Club chairman Allan Webb said: "This season he is now sharp as ever and, in addition to scoring the four-second goal, he was Grampound's man of the match."
Weeks has made 238 appearances for Grampound, scoring 109 goals.
Now 24, he has become a vital member of the team and has picked up the top goal scorer award a number of seasons.
Weeks scored 14 times last year before an injury setback in a Boxing Day friendly, but now back to full fitness, Weeks' achievements at the weekend show he is back to his best.
