Police appeal following a robbery in Camborne

A CAMBORNE man was knocked to the ground and kicked in the head during a street robbery last weekend.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the attack near the entrance to Rosevean Road on Sunday night, between 10pm and 10.30pm.

The victim was walking home when he became aware of a male walking close to him.

During the incident he was kicked in the leg, knocked to the floor, kicked in the head and then had his pockets rifled and a quantity of cash taken.

The attacked has been described as being a white man, approximately 5'9" tall of slim build, wearing dark clothing with an eastern European accent.

The victim saw a second man in the vicinity who he believes was with his attacker.
