Police appeal after garage safe is stolen
Police are appealing for witnesses after a safe was stolen from a garage in Camelford.
The Camelot Garage at Valley Truckle was broken into at around 4.30am on Wednesday, although details have only just been released.
Later that morning, at around 8.30am, two men were seen in a field who were trying to open a safe and then fled the scene in a blue Ford Mondeo.
Police say a car matching the description was later located in St Breward and after it failed to stop, a pursuit took place out of the village and onto the A30. A short time later the vehicle was found abandoned in Polyphant, near Launceston.

Two men were located nearby and arrested on suspicion of burglary.
The two men, both aged 37 and living in the Bude area, were questioned and then released on police bail until November 29, pending further enquiries.
Detectives are urging anyone who saw two men in a blue Mondeo who were acting suspiciously in North Cornwall on the weekend of October 6 and 7 to contact them.
Police are also asking anyone to come forward who may have witnessed the pursuit, or saw the men discard anything from the vehicle.
