Police appeal after man punched in face in St Austell

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was punched twice in the face outside the Club in High Cross Street, St Austell.

Between midnight and 1am on Saturday (October 6), the man reportedly tried to get into the nightclub but failed.

Police said he was then assaulted outside, causing visible facial injuries.

Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting GA/12/2848.
