POLICE are appealing for witnesses after vandals cut security camera cables, causing £300 worth of damage.

It happened at about 4.45pm in Penmere Road, St Austell, on Thursday, January 17, and caused CCTV footage to be lost.

Police said the act would have been seen from the road and are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious to call them on 101.
