Police arrest man over arson attack on buses
A 23-year-old man has been arrested by Devon and Cornwall Police following a suspected arson attack on three buses at a station in Devon. The man was arrested yesterday and was awaiting interview at Torquay police station. One single-decker and two double-decker buses were destroyed and the damage was estimated to be around £120,000. The vehicles were destroyed at Paignton bus station on Great Western Road on Monday, July 30. Emergency services attended the scene after a member of the public reported hearing an explosion at around 4.25am.
