Police in Cornwall are appealing for information after a knife-point robbery in Redruth, the third in a week.

Police are considering the possibility that all three incidents are linked.

The latest robbery occurred at just after 8.00pm yesterday at the Spar shop located in Fore Street, in Pool near Redruth.

The offender entered the store and threatened the shop assistant with a stanley knife before making off with a quantity of cash from the till.

The shop assistant was not injured but naturally shaken following the incident.

The suspect is described as being, a white man and wearing a blue coloured hoody with possibly a striped ‘T’ shirt underneath, dark jeans and a black scarf covering his face and light coloured running shoes.

In the other two incidents at the Iceland store and the Co-op store, both in Redruth the offender made off with cash from the till after threatening the assistant.
