Police hunt L'Oreal cosmetic thieves - because they're worth it
BEAUTY-CONSCIOUS thieves stole around £5,000 of L'Oreal cosmetics from NINE Superdrug stores across Cornwall on a six day spree.
Police have now released a CCTV image of a man and a woman they wish to speak to in connection with the shoplifting offences.
The alleged culprits first struck in Penzance on Wednesday, August 14, before heading to Falmouth and Redruth later that day.
Stores in Newquay, St Austell, Bodmin, Launceston and Plympton were then targeted on Monday, August 19, before the Saltash branch was hit the following day.

A police spokesman said: “In all cases the suspects stole cosmetics, mainly L’Oreal brand, from the shops. In total officers believe around £5,000 worth of cosmetics were stolen.”
The offenders are described Asian in appearance and in their late twenties or thirties. The man is described as of medium build and approximately 5ft 8ins tall with short, dark hair.
The woman is said to be approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, with long, dark hair tied in pony tail and carrying a big black handbag.
