Police hunt for missing Launceston woman

Police in Launceston are appealing for information to help trace a missing woman.

Joy Grigg aged 50  has been reported missing from her home at Tregeare near Launceston since early this morning.

She is described as approximately 5' 2" in height, medium build with light brown hair.

She is believed to be wearing a nightdress with possibly a light blue coat and black ankle boots.

 A police spokesman said: " We are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and the Cornwall Rescue Group is currently assisting in a search.''
