Police investigate attempted stabbing in Tintagel
Police are investigating an assault involving a knife that took place in Tintagel on Sunday.
A man in his thirties is reported to have approached man in the alleyway alongside the Indian Ocean restaurant holding a kitchen knife with a blade around six to eight inches long between 1.30pm and 1.50pm.

The victim alleges the offender went to stab him in the stomach which he prevented by grabbing the blade, resulting in cuts to his hand.
The offender has then left, running across the street to a nearby vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white man with dark hair around six feet tall. He was wearing dark trousers and a white top.
