Police monitoring dangerous U-turns at Lowen Bre off the A390
Dangerous U-turns are being carried out on a Truro road.
Police said drivers were turning off the A390 at Treliske and performing U-turns in Lowen Bre to cut travel times.
Residents of Lowen Bre said they were sick of people driving onto their property.
Police have recorded registration numbers of the drivers and are monitoring the problem.

PC Jo Medlin said: “Police have seen a few near misses from cars coming from further down in the estate coming up around the corner and suddenly having to stop whilst a car is carrying out a turn in the road, purely due to being lazy and not driving down to the next roundabout to turn around.
“The behaviour is also causing a large number of unnecessary traffic light changes on the A390 therefore meaning the flow of traffic coming into and going out of the city is held up more often than is needed.”
Resident Jan Faulks said at peak times she saw one car a minute performing a U-turn.
She said: “People are looking in your kitchen all the time and it’s incredibly annoying. The lights flash into your house all the time. I don’t feel any individual realises the impact they have.”
