Police release man quizzed in car assault
A 34-year-old man arrested in connection with an assault in a Cornish village has been bailed pending further inquiries.
The man, who is from the area, was detained after the incident in Fore Street, Polruan, at about 4pm on Sunday.
Police said damage was caused to a car and the 49-year-old driver assaulted.
He suffered facial injuries in the attack and was taken to Plymouth's Derriford Hospital for treatment.
