Police step up efforts to identify dead man
Police in Exmouth have renewed their appeal for information about an abandoned camp on the banks of the River Exe as they continue their investigation to identify a man whose body was found washed up seven weeks ago. The results of a tidal report have revealed that the man, whose body was discovered by a dog walker on the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail between Exmouth and Lympstone, entered the water between Exmouth Marina and where he was found. Officers also discovered a camp on wasteland between the river and King George's Field.
