Police warning to boat owners after rib stolen in St Agnes
AN inflatable boat, trailer and outboard motor, total value of around £4,000, has been stolen from a house in St Agnes.Police are appealing to owners of marine craft to look out for the Avon 5.2m rib and Mariner outboard motor and 6m steel trailer were stolen from Middlegates on Wednesday (JAN 23).
It's believed the rib was towed onto the A30 and is now being offered for sale either in or out of the county. Police are warning boat owners to ensure their equipment is properly marked to make it harder for thieves to sell.Anyone with any information regarding the theft is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference GR/13/32
