Poluleuligaga set for Pirates bow at London Scottish
Cornish Pirates boss Ian Davies makes four changes to his team ahead of tomorrow's difficult RFU Championship clash at London Scottish (3pm), writes Dick Straughan.
Injuries to skipper Gavin Cattle and full-back Matt Evans mean that they miss the trip to Richmond Athletic Ground, with Tom Kessell deputising at scrum-half and Jack Nowell of the Exeter Chiefs dual-registered contingent wearing the number 15 jersey.
The only other change in the backs sees fit-again Wes Davies come in on the wing after missing the trip to face his former club, Doncaster Knights, last Friday.
In the pack, Ben Maidment wears the number 8 jersey in place of Laurie McGlone, who is rested as part of his rehabilitation from a summer knee op. Phil Burgess will lead the side and takes over at flanker from Joe Buckle, who drops to the bench.

With Jack Yeandle keeping his place in the front row, Rob Elloway is joined on the bench by Ben Prescott who has linked up with the team again after becoming the father of twins last month.
New signing Ben Mercer is in line to make his debut for the Pirates with short-term loanee from the Chiefs, Junior Poluleuligaga, covering the scrum-half position.
London Scottish are looking to continue their encouraging home form and changes in their back line see Joe Ajuwa make his first appearance for the club, as well as a return to the starting line up for wing Miles Mantella.
In the pack, James Kellard come into the back row for Lewis Calder, while TylerHotson and Paul Spivey re-unite in the second row.
Director of Rugby Simon Amor has called for his side to show more consistency, starting this weekend.
Amor said: "Our performances to date at the Athletic Ground have been encouraging in parts although we have lacked consistency. We've scored some good tries although we need to find that consistency coupled with our continued progression in our defence."
"Most importantly, the team will look to play with passion and pride which is at the very heart of London Scottish."
London Scottish centre Ryan Westren is denied the opportunity to line-up against his former club, after sustaning a knee injury that threatens to keep him out of the game for some time.
In matches between the two teams last season the Pirates won narrowly 25-23 away and were comfortable 42-10 winners at home.
