'Pop star' clue to identity of pub assailant
A man who assaulted a drinker in a Devon pub is said to resemble pop star Olly Murs.
The 25-year-old victim was punched when he tried to break up a fight between two men at the Imperial Pub in Exeter.
He was knocked to the floor and kicked in the head suffering a fractured eye socket.
The victim, from Bolton, told police his assailant looked like singer and X Factor star Olly Murs.

A police spokesman said: "Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in an Exeter pub by another man who was described as looking like pop star Olly Murs.
"The incident took place at around 10.50pm on Wednesday, September 12 in the Imperial pub.
"There was an altercation between two men and when the victim tried to intervene the suspect punched him to the floor and then kicked him to the face.
"The 25-year-old victim from Bolton suffered a fractured eye socket and bleeding to his eye in the incident."
The suspect is 5ft 8ins, of stocky build, and was wearing a purple shirt with white spots.
