A SOLAR farm could be created in Mawnan Smith.
A formal planning application has yet to be submitted, but four potential sites have been identified.

The solar farm site would cover between 10 and 14 hectares, depending on which site is developed.
It would have the potential to provide up to 5MW of renewable energy, powering about 3,300 homes.
The company is also looking at a site in Tregavethan.
Mawnan Smith was chosen mainly due to "land availability" but the company did not wish to comment further at this stage.
Cornwall Council granted permission for the first solar farm last month, a 1.55MW park at the former Wheal Jane site outside Truro.
The council believes the enthusiasm to set up photovoltaic energy sites could see as much as £1 billion invested in Cornwall.
More than 40 companies have expressed interest in setting up sites in Cornwall and a dozen firms have indicated they will be submitting planning applications.
