Pretty flamingoes go on the prowl

IN THE PINK: Wadebridge changed colour for Cancer Research UK on a fundraising Pink Day in the town. Our picture shows three ladies calling themselves the Pink Flamingoes out with their collecting boxes for Cancer Research UK. A pink window-dressing competition was won by Petz of Wadebridge and other Pink Day surprises included a Big C pasty baked by Barnecutts Bakery, craft, cake and book stalls, games and raffle prizes as well as entertainment from the Shipwrecks choir. It is hoped the day will raise around £2,000.
