Proposed new site for Marazion Post Office
MARAZION Post Office could be moving to a new location which would see it open every day.
The proposed new site for the branch is next door to its current location on Market Place in the convenience store Cobble Corner.
The move would see the Post Office open seven days a week, extending its current opening time by more than 36 hours.
The proposed move is part of a major modernisation programme across the Post Office network designed to make it easier for customers to do business, through longer opening hours and more modern open-plan environments.

Post Office regional network manager for England South, Will Russell, said: "We understand how important Post Office services are to residents in Marazion and we are confident that this new, modern branch will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.
"The proposed changes to the branch are part of a major investment programme to convert the Post Office network to new-style branches and this investment, the largest in the history of the Post Office, marks a commitment to no more branch closure programmes."
Residents in Marazion are being asked to voice their opinion on the proposals in a six-week public consultation ending on February 28.
Should the move go ahead, the branch would open every day from 7am until 6.30pm, while on Wednesday and Saturday the branch would stay open until 7.30pm.
