Protesters establish anti-nuclear camp
Campaigners opposed to the redevelopment of the Westcountry's only nuclear power plant have raised a ten-metre barn ahead of a weekend of staged protests. The camp, on common land at North Wick Moor, Hinkley Point, Somerset, is to act as the base for anti-nuclear protesters which will culminate with "mass trespass" at the proposed development site of the UK's largest nuclear power plant on Monday. According to protest organisers, about a dozen people entered the land in pouring rain at 2am on Friday to establish the camp.
