Public meeting to outline community benefits of Glebe Farm wind turbine in St Enoder
A PUBLIC exhibition will be held tomorrow to provide St Enoder residents with information on plans for a wind turbine at Glebe Farm.
The proposal is a joint venture between the farm's owners and Community Power Cornwall, a co-operative aimed at allowing communities to develop and benefit from their own renewable energy projects.
Local people are invited to drop in to Summercourt Memorial Hall between 4pm and 7pm to find out more.
If approved, the turbine will supply low-cost electricity to the farm, run by the Jeffery family, and to the award-winning mental health organisation Pentreath Ltd, based at the farm, and an annual share of the money from selling power to the National Grid will be given to Pentreath to support its activities.
