Pumpkins all ready to glow...
A bumper crop of pumpkins at a Westcountry fun park is to make an annual Halloween handout bigger and better than ever.
Crealy Great Adventure Park, near Exeter, plans to give away thousands of the giant squashes during half-term week – one for every young visitor, such as Toby Haywood, 7, pictured.
Staff said they have been lucky that the summer deluge, which decimated crops, appears not to have affected them.
"They say they may even need help with the harvest – and the glut is to be translated into a tongue-twisting seasonal menu of peppered pumpkin soup, pumpkin cake and pumpkin pie.

Pumpkinfest runs during half- term, with the Crealy Witch and a hair-raising haunted train.
