Reddaway overcomes holder to take title
BADMINTON: Amy Reddaway and Wojtek Poszelezny won the women's and men's singles events at the 30th Duchy of Cornwall Open Championships last weekend. Reddaway, from Somerset, had a 21-12, 21-13, over Wales' Vicki Jones, the holder, while Poszelezny, a Sussex-based former Polish junior, overcame the challenge of last year's finalist, Will Hilton-Jackson, his county compatriot, with a 21-15, 21-15 win.
