Redruth celebrations continue with second ever pasty festival
REDRUTH has been celebrating its second annual pasty festival today as part of a weekend of celebrations.
Today marks the 'main pasty day' of a three-day event and was opened at 10am by TV chef and environmentalist James Strawbridge.
He was joined by one of the organisers Marion Symonds of Porthtreath Bakery.
Following the Miner's Day yesterday, which featured theatre, a public service and arts and crafts, today's focus has been food - with a variety of stalls and a 'make your own pasty' workshop.

This year the festival is hoping to see 1,000 pasties made.
