Refurbished ferry to return to service
A busy ferry that has been out of action for a month is set to return to service next week. The vessel which carries passengers across the River Tamar several times a day was taken away for a re-fit on September 13. The work was due to last for 30 days, but a delay means it is now set to return on Friday, October 18. The last few weeks have seen a reduced ferry service as the crossing between Torpoint and Devonport was left with just two ferries operating.
