LAUNCESTON residents have been hearing how they could use renewable energy technologies in their homes.

The Energy Saving Trust (South West) joined forces with Regen SW and installers of renewable technologies during an event at Launceston Town Hall.

Nicola Kennedy, the trust's advice centre adviser, based in Camborne, said: "Working with organisations to organise an event like this is great as it means we can really start to show people how these different technologies work and what people can do in their own homes to save energy and money. We're getting more and more calls to our freephone number from people in the South West asking how we can help them to install renewable energy technologies."

For more information, call the trust's freephone helpline on 0800 512 012.
