Renewable energy show aims to celebrate Cornwall's green power
A free show celebrating the South West's achievements in renewable energy will be held in Cornwall later this summer.
The Renewable Energy Show aims to publicise the county's achievements in the production of green energy, as well as informing the public of the county's ambitions for a sustainable future.
The event, in Delabole on July 26-27, will be held next to the site of the first commercial wind farm in the UK, built in 1991.
The exhibition, which will feature displays on renewable technologies including wind, solar, biomass and hydro, also hopes to inspire the public to use more sustainable energy.
