Restraining order handed to Falmouth man
JOHN Hopkinson, 64, of Harbour Court, New Street, Falmouth, pleaded not guilty but was convicted at Truro Magistrates' Court of harassing Susan Toy at Falmouth between February and November last year and was given a 10-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months and a restraining order.

William Wood, of West End, Penryn, was convicted in his absence of using a vehicle when not every headlamp was in good working order at Penryn on March 16 and was fined £100.
Matthew Mcilroy, 22, of Belmont, Stithians, entered a guilty plea to assaulting Malcolm Roberts at Falmouth on June 23 and was conditionally discharged for a year, given a drink banning order for a year, and told to pay compensation of £50.
