More than 100 Cornwall Council highways staff, as well as environment and fire and rescue personnel, have been tackling flooding incidents across Cornwall since last night.
Drivers have been advised not to drive through flood waters because the waves created could damage homes and businesses.
Although the rainfall is expected to clear by this afternoon and tomorrow remain relatively dry, heavy rain has been forecast for the weekend and Monday.
