Road worker still in 'critical' condition
One of the two men working on a busy Devon road who were airlifted to hospital after being in collision with a van remained in a critical condition yesterday.
The second man involved in the collision on the A361 near Tiverton on Tuesday was in a "serious" condition.
The two men, aged in their 40s and from the Tiverton area, were working on the highway when they are understood to have been struck by a van at around 11am.
The van driver from the Saltash area, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
