Roll up and enjoy lunch by the lake
ON SUNDAY, July, 22 the Rotary Club of St Austell will host a fundraising event, Lunch by the Lake in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care and other Rotary charities.
This will be the fourth occasion that this event has been held at the home of Tony and Mrs Geake at Appleton Lea, Tregorrick. Last year's event raised more than £1,300.
The occasion will include entertainment provided by the The Black Rock Jazz Band – tickets are limited, but are still available from John Hawkins on 01726 828100.
In a few weeks' time the club will celebrate its 90th anniversary.

Over a number of years, the Rotary Club of St Austell has shown outstanding service to the community, including its fundraising.
At the moment, members are heavily involved in assisting in the running of the Parkinson's Club, the Memory Café, Stroke Awareness and Christmas parcels for the senior people of the community.
The club is always appreciative of the support provided by local residents in the club's endeavours to support the local community.
