Row over food leads to attack outside club
A man was subjected to a "vicious" and unprovoked attack outside a Redruth nightclub.
The 49-year-old suffered two black eyes, a mouth injury, facial swelling and bruising as a result of the sustained assault near the Twilight Zone nightclub.
Detective Constable Craig Daddow, of Camborne CID, said the victim had just bought food from a burger van when he was approached by an unknown man and woman.
The man knocked the food out of the victim's hand and when his companion remonstrated, he agreed to go to an ATM and get money to replace it. However, on the way the man instead kicked the victim to the ground and repeatedly kicked and punched him. The attack took place at 1.45 am on November 18, although details have just been released.

Detectives are now hunting the offender who ran from the scene towards the town centre. Police are also urging the attacker's companion, who is thought to have left the scene on her own, to come forward.
DC Daddow said: "This was a vicious and sustained attack which left the victim traumatised and with serious facial injuries. We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault to come forward."
