Gig rowers 'Rowvember' bid to aid Cornwall Air Ambulance
Fundraisers on the Isles of Scilly are hoping to attract gig rowers from the mainland to help them raise money for Cornwall Air Ambulance. The Rowvember campaign aims to have teams of up to six people rowing continuously for 24 hours. The bid, part of the Council of the Isles of Scilly's Active Scilly team in partnership with the local police takes place in the Queen Elizabeth II Community Sports Hall, starting at 7pm on Friday November 16.
