Rugby: Roseland v Bodmin report October 30
Roseland 7, Bodmin 38
BODMIN have set up a mouth watering clash against Liskeard-Looe at Clifden Park this Saturday (2.30pm) in a battle of the only two undefeated Cornwall One sides.
Last Saturday's bonus point win at Roseland sent Bodmin to the top of the table above Liskeard-Looe, whose scheduled fixture at Stithians was postponed.
Roseland, a historical bogey team for Bodmin, proved tough opposition to break down and on Saturday's performance were certainly not a side worthy of propping up the league table.

The home side had the better of the early exchanges and retained possession well, forcing Bodmin onto the back foot.
With the strong winds causing lineouts to be somewhat of a lottery, Bodmin were unable to gain an easy way into the game.
Roseland whilst keeping the ball well weren't particularly threatening to score.
However when Bodmin finally did manage to get their hands on the ball it wasn't long before they opened the scoring. Lee Taylor putting Guy Taylor into a gap just a few metres out for the front rower to burst over the line. Cody Armstrong added the conversion in the blustery conditions.
Then with one try came another barely a minute later as a quickly taken line out saw some fantastic quick passes beating the scrambling Roseland defence to see winger Mitch Fairman add Bodmin's second try. Armstrong extending the lead to 14-0.
Bodmin were being forced to work hard for their possession and Roseland were still managing to make inroads into the Bodmin half.
Roseland were then rewarded for their efforts as a catch and drive lineout just five metres out resulted in a powerful maul forcing its way over for the Roseland hooker to breach the Bodmin try line.
The conversion was added to leave only a converted try as the difference, and the scores remained locked this way until half time.
Bodmin had grown into the game well during the first 40 and continued to work to stamp their authority on the game.
The visitors scrum began to dominate, with Roseland struggling to even win their own put ins.
It was from this dominance that Bodmin grabbed their third try of the day. Number 8 Lee Taylor controlling the ball well at the back of an advancing scrum to pick up and dot down from short range. Armstrong adding his third conversion.
Bodmin from this point on controlled the game superbly, showing a great intensity to retain possession and advance their way down the pitch in difficult conditions.
The bonus point then came as Bodmin's dominance really began to tell. Front foot ball from the wonderful platforms created by the Bodmin pack allowed the backs time and space to create space and gaps in the home defence.
Scrum half Armstrong then managed to snipe around the fringes and score the crucial bonus point try and add the conversion himself for a 28-7 lead.
Bodmin then looked to put the game to bed and prepare for this weeks table topping game against Liskeard.
Some well worked quick phases saw Roseland's defensive line broken once more and this time unable to recover as second row Liam Thomas crashed over the try line following some fantastic offloading among the Bodmin forwards. The conversion was pushed narrowly wide. The last try of the game then came as Bodmin turned over a rare second half attack from Roseland and centre Paul Carter hacked the loose ball downfield before showing good pace and control to kick the ball on again and enjoy the ball bouncing up to dive over for Bodmin's sixth try.
Carter was unable to add the conversion to his own try.
The final whistle blew shortly afterwards to see Bodmin go to the top of the table.
