All Saints Church in Falmouth celebrate Christmas with annual tree festival
FOR PEOPLE who love decorated Christmas trees, there are nearly 40 in one place in Falmouth.
The All Saints Church Tree Festival is now in its seventh year and remains a popular part of the town's calendar.

And what makes the festival more magical is that it is a real community event, with local organisations, including the town's primary schools, the Mission to Seafarers, Earle's Retreat and local businesses decorating their own trees.
The trees were brought into the church and put in position before people came to decorate them with the theme of celebrating Christmas around the world.

Jean Cook from the Emmanuel Baptist Church ladies' group took the Olympics as inspiration and adorned the tree with handmade items including flames, torches and flags.
Barbara Jenkin, one of the organisers, said: "People look forward to it each year and it has built up a reputation that this is what we do at All Saints; but it is not for All Saints, it is for the community and we already have a waiting list of those wanting a tree next year."
The festival runs until the end of December and is open 10am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 2pm to 4pm on Sunday.
Father Stephen Drakeley said: "It has become a bit of an institution here and the church looks quite astounding."
As part of the festival a concert took place with Truro Male Voice Choir and St Mary's Primary School choir, which played to a full house and raised around £1,000 for Cornwall Air Ambulance.
