Samantha Cameron's recognition for hard work of Hannahs
Samantha Cameron showed her support for a Westcountry charity by staging a reception to celebrate its work.
The wife of Prime Minister David Cameron hosted the exclusive event on Tuesday in 10 Downing Street, where she paid homage to the inspiring work of the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, or Hannahs.

"We were humbled by the emotion with which Mrs Cameron spoke," said Bronwen Hewitt, chief executive of the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust.

Guests at the reception for Hannahs, which has been enriching the lives of children and young people for more than 200 years, included politicians, public figures and supporters of the charity.
The trust works from two locations – in Ivybridge and at Seale-Hayne near Newton Abbot – where it provides learning, care and support to children and adults with a range of disabilities.
