Sax player Jade Gall guests at Calstock Arts
THIS Friday sees a Gallery Bar Special with saxophonist Jade Gall and pianist Jonathan Watts at Calstock Arts, The Old Chapel.
A graduate of the University of Falmouth including a year at the South West Music School, Jade is extending her musical expertise by studying for a master's degree in music performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

As well as aiming to become a professional saxophonist, Jade can be seen performing with Plymouth's own rat pack tribute band, Michael Campari and the Solar System.
Accompanied by pianist Jonathan Watts, known as one third of Devon-based Trio Con Brio, Jade's programme will include pieces by saxophone pioneer Rudy Wiedoeft. There will also be some contemporary pieces composed by fusion saxophonists Andy Scott and Rob Buckland, who combine elements of jazz, world and contemporary classical styles.
