School so delighted with positive report
ST ISSEY Primary School has been praised as a good school with outstanding features where pupils are achieving well, in a positive report from government education watchdogs.
The report by Ofsted highlighted the quality of teaching, the outstanding behaviour of pupils and the school's strong, caring ethos.

The report notes the improvements which have been made since the last inspection of the 65-pupil school and concludes that there is a strong capacity for further improvement.
Head teacher Sue Wilcock said: "I feel so very proud of everyone and hugely honoured to have been involved in getting us to where we are now.

“I saw the word "ethos" quoted by the report and it sent a chill into my bones. And lo and behold I read further down and it's a religious school.
When can we eventually separate encompassing faith from education, and stop this abuse of childhood?”
