Seaweed talk at Falmouth Aquarium
Veteran Cornish seaweed forager Rory MacPhee will give a talk on picking and cooking the "sea vegetable" at Falmouth Aquarium this evening.
Last year Mr MacPhee was granted the first licence in England to harvest and sell seaweed, which he handpicks from around the Lizard, before leaving to dry out in the sunshine and grinding into powder.

As well as being very tasty, Mr MacPhee says seaweed has "incredible nutritional health benefits".
This evening he will be talking about his story and how seaweed can be used as a healthy addition to our diets. The talk also includes a raffle and a seaweed tea taster session.
