The three-inch device was discovered by workmen on Tuesday near Kingsbridge. The device was due to be taken to the Breakwater at Devonport for a controlled explosion yesterday. In a separate incident, a fishing vessel found a potential bomb tied up in its nets yesterday. Divers were expected to carry out a controlled explosion or a further inspection.
