Selfless teenagers give up hundreds of hours for Lions
A group of youngsters from Callington Lions have been presented with awards for carrying out voluntary work in the community.
Ken Aspinall, youth officer at the Callington branch, said he was proud of their achievements.

"We are trying to show our pride in them by giving them something they can put in their portfolio. They have put in a lot of hard work," he said.
Eight youngsters from the club were awarded certificates.

Three were presented with the gold award, which is given for 100 hours of voluntary service over a 12-month period.
A further five received the silver award, which is given to those who have completed 50 hours of voluntary service throughout the year.
